American rapper Travis Scott thrilled thousands of his fans at the NRG Park in Houston, Texas, last night with the third edition of the Astroworld Festival.
On Friday night (November 6), thousands of fans of the Houston-native thronged the NRG Park stadium to show their support as well as enjoy some good music from the star.
A few hours before the concert, the soon-to-be father of two dropped new music.
Though he wowed the crowd, the highlight of the night was when he brought Canadian rapper Drake on stage.
The fans went into a frenzy when Drake stormed the stage in a Houston branded white t-shirt and jeans to support him.
Drake and Travis Scott have been working together for years and have back-to-back collaborations.
In 2017, Drake featured Travis on his hit single “Portland” (which also features Quavo). The following year, Travis Scott got Drake on his hit “SICKO MODE.” Then in 2020, Drake featured Travis Scott on “Fair Trade.”
Travis Scott’s festival has become one of the biggest shows in town and brings a piece of Houston’s history back to life.
In a new development, reports say several are injured as eight confirmed dead at the festival.
