Ghanaian football giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko have made a big move by parting ways with ten players following the conclusion of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season. The club is gearing up for a major rebuild as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Among the players released by the Porcupine Warriors are captain Danlad Ibrahim and striker George Mfegue. Danlad’s season has been a bit of a puzzle, with the player expressing hesitancy to play at times when the opportunity arose. On the other hand, Mfegue surprisingly only featured in 12 games this season, a stark comparison to his 26 appearances and three goals last season.
