Rinderknech began his clay-court season in the Monte Carlo Masters, where he was knocked out in the first round by 2019 champion Fabio Fognini. He was eliminated in the first round of the Lyon Open by Holger Rune. At the French Open, he was upset in the first round by Alexander Bublik, who was ranked 60.

Rinderknech won his ninth ATP Challenger championship after defeating Tomás Barrios Vera in the final of the Pozna Open, an ATP Challenger competition.

Rinderknech grass-court season began at the BOSS Open in Stuttgart, Germany. In the first round, he defeated eighth seed and compatriot Ugo Humbert in three sets. In the second round, he was defeated by compatriot Benjamin Bonzi. He was eliminated in the first round of qualifying in the Halle Open.
