The great Ian Wright of Arsenal has given Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo credit for his outstanding play in the English Premier League.
The English-born young player with Ghanaian ancestry has become well-known in recent weeks as a result of his exceptional performances for the Red Devils.
Several English pundits have praised the midfield player and demanded that he be included in the team when they next call up players.
Ian Wright, the legendary player for Arsenal, concurs, saying in a recent interview that Kobbie Mainoo ought to be in the lineup for England shortly.
“The next England squad needs to include Bobbie Mainoo. We have not seen such maturity in such chaotic circumstances from an England player in a very long time. A good impression is what is obtained every time I watch him,” the former England striker said. He is noted to be the best among the other same-position holders.
Although Kobbie Mainoo has played for England on several U20 national teams, he is still eligible to play for Ghana’s senior national squad.
