Arnold Skolnick was a book publisher and graphic artist from the United States who died on June 15 in Amherst, Massachusetts, at the age of 85.
His sons Alexander and Peter from his first marriage to Irish Jay are survivors. Mose and Charna Skolnick, as well as his sister Helene Rothschild, survive Skolnick.
The original 1969 poster for the Woodstock Art and Music Fair is his most well-known work.

Skolnick was paid $12,000 for the job, which he divided with a copywriter. He went to Woodstock for one day but departed before it started raining.
He was last seen in Easthampton, Massachusetts.
