Lily Rose Beatrice Allen, an English singer-songwriter and actor, was born on May 2, 1985. She is the daughter of filmmaker Alison Owen and actor Keith Allen.
Her musical career began in 2005 when she posted some of her vocal recordings online. The exposure led to BBC Radio 1 playback and a recording deal with Regal Recordings.
In July 2006, “Smile,” her debut single for a mass audience, peaked at the top of the UK Singles Chart.
