English music producer Rollo, real name Rowland Constantine O’Malley Armstrong, was born on May 8, 1966.
In addition to being a founding member of the electronic music group Faithless, he is one half of the remix/production team, Rollo & Sister Bliss. Remixes of songs by Pet Shop Boys, Simply Red, R. Kelly, U2, Moby, Grace, Tricky, and Suede have been done by him.
The smash single “Don’t You Want Me” by Felix, which peaked at number one in multiple nations, was co-written and co-produced by Rollo.
UEFA Euro 2008[5] and UEFA Euro 2012’s official anthems were written by Rollo. Because of his collaboration with Dido and A.R. Rahman, he was nominated for an Academy Award. Rollo released The Last Summer in October 2019 under the pseudonym “R Plus.”
Rollo released “Hey Lover” in July 2021 under the pseudonym R Plus, which featured Amelia Fox as the lead vocalist. Together, the two had previously worked on a rendition of the Joy Division song “Love Will Tear Us Apart” from 1980, which Rollo put out in May 2021. Rollo collaborated with Amelia Fox and Faithless to create the album WeDisappear, which was published on May 13, 2022.
