Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio have known each other for many years.
When you’re a Hollywood A-lister, you run into the same people all the time.
The acquaintance became a bromance and it all happened on the set of Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 smash hit Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Set in 1969 “hippie” Hollywood, the film tells the sometimes bizarre story of Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), a has-been movie star, and his best friend and stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt).
Sharon Tate, played by Margot Robbie, is doomed. Apparently, Leo and Brad hit it off right away.
Are Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt still friends?
Pitt and DiCaprio have formed a mutual admiration society for their acting abilities.
“This is a guy who’s really giving and really goes for it,” Brad says of DiCaprio, “so you know it’s great fun being able to spar with that caliber of actor.”
In fact, Leonardo DiCaprio was nominated for an Oscar for Best Leading Actor.
