On May 5, 1983, Henry William Dalgliesh Cavill, an actor, was born in Britain. Cavill was in Saint Helier, Jersey, a part of the Channel Islands. He is one of five boys in a Roman Catholic household, and he is the fourth male. His mother, Marianne Dalgliesh, a Jersey native of Scottish, English, and Irish ancestry, worked as a bank secretary. Cavill is widely known for his performances as Superman and Charles Brandon. Henry Cavill was selected to play Clark Kent/Superman in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel, it was announced on January 30, 2011.

Snyder referred to Cavill as “the perfect choice to don the cape and S shield.” With his accomplishments, Henry Cavill received praise from the entertainment world.

Beginning in 2008, Cavill was selected to represent the British cologne Dunhill. He appeared in two television commercials for the business.
