Troyal Garth Brooks, born February 7, 1962, is a country music artist and songwriter from the United States. Troyal Garth Brooks was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the son of oil company draftsman Troyal Raymond Brooks Jr. and Colleen McElroy Carroll.

His enormous fame stems mostly from his success on the country music single and album charts, multi-platinum albums, record-breaking live performances, and crossover into the mainstream pop genre, particularly in the United States. Brooks began professionally performing in Oklahoma nightclubs and bars in 1985, most notably at Stillwater’s Wild Willie’s Saloon.

On the other hand, Leon Kix Brooks, a well-known American country music musician, actor, and film producer, was born Eric Brooks III on May 12, 1955. American Country Countdown, a radio program, is also hosted by him.

Prior to the creation of the partnership, he was a vocalist and composer, charting twice on Hot Country Songs and publishing an album for Capitol Records. Brooks and Ronnie Dunn spent twenty years as Brooks & Dunn before splitting up. Brooks’ solo career after Brooks & Dunn includes the CD New to This Town.
