We don’t know how Morgan and Welch interacted in the past, but we do know that they are not friends right now and don’t appear to be on the verge of becoming so any time soon.
Denise Welch, a longtime mental health campaigner and star of Loose Women, was called a “fake” and a “shameful hypocrite” by Piers Morgan earlier this year.
Their conflict began with a previous disagreement the two had regarding mental health.
Throughout the epidemic in 2020, Piers and Denise were at odds. The journalist attacked Denise on Twitter in September, calling her a “dumb, deluded and dangerous Covid-denier” in a Twitter rant.
Denise Welch and Piers Morgan recently engaged in a “war of tweets” after the latter made fun of Morgan’s show Uncensored for receiving low ratings since it debuted on TalkTV despite a significant advertising push.
After Denise responded to a video of Piers discussing his evolving beliefs regarding the coronavirus vaccines on October 12, it has since been rekindled.
She shared the TalkTV show footage on her Twitter page alongside other remarks he had made on the pandemic, in which he had referred to her as a Covid denier.
She has also criticized the host for his numerous remarks regarding mental health, notably those directed at Meghan Markle.
She claimed to Oprah Winfrey in 2021 that she experienced suicidal thoughts while she was a member of the royal family, but Piers claimed he didn’t buy it.
