Controversial US-based Ghanaian social media commentator, Archipalago has descended on multiple award winning rapper, Sarkodie for displaying guns in his recently released music video for one of the tracks off his new Alpha EP, Legend.

In a video he posted on his various social media walls, Archipalago condemned Sarkodie for displaying guns in his music video. According to him, the display of guns in music videos serve no purpose and must therefore be discouraged.

He admitted that Legend is a hip hop song and thus, it is not surprising for it to be accompanied with a video involving some gangsterism. He however posited that, the display of guns must not be encouraged especially around the time when the use of guns in the showbiz industry is being condemned following the fracas at the 2019 VGMAs.

Sarkodie’s Legend video shows Joey B and some video vixens wielding guns.
