The Roscommon teen, Archie Naughton died this morning at the Mater Hospital in Dublin.
His family had requested encouraging words and prayers for a miracle after he had gone into heart failure in the last few days as a result of living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy for the previous ten years.

Archie’s death was announced and stated that his funeral service will be held in Roscommon town on Monday.
The Join Our Boys foundation was founded to assist Archie and his 10-year-old twin brothers, Isacc and George, in leading as normal a life as possible while having the degenerative fatal condition since they were infants.
In recent years, it has also gathered hundreds of millions of euros to establish a particularly designed house for boys in Roscommon town
