Anuel AA, also known as Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago, is a rapper and artist who was born in Puerto Rico on November 26, 1992. His music typically contains samples and changes of songs that were popular when he was a young man.
Due to his legal troubles, beefs with American rappers 6ix9ine, Cosculluela, and Ivy Queen, as well as other Puerto Rican rappers, he is regarded as a controversial figure in the Latin music scene.
At the age of fourteen, he started recording music. He grew up in Carolina, Puerto Rico. 2010 marked the launch of his internet publication, four years later. Eventually, he joined fellow American rapper Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group’s Latin label.
