Anton Charles Walkes (8 February 1997 – 19 January 2023) was a defender and midfielder for the English Premier League.
Walkes began his club career with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, making one appearance in the League Cup. He was loaned out to Atlanta United in 2017. His loan was extended through the end of the 2017 season in August. Walkes was then loaned to League One club Portsmouth, where he spent the rest of the 2017-18 season before signing a permanent deal in July 2018.
Walkes began his career at Tottenham Hotspur, where he joined in July 2013. On 21 September 2016, he made his first team debut in the EFL Cup against Gillingham, coming on as a substitute in the 80th minute of a 5-0 victory. Walkes appeared as captain three times in the UEFA Youth League group stage, including twice against Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
On September 27, 2017, he signed a two-year contract extension with the club, keeping him until 2019. Walkes returned to the reserve team briefly after his loan spell at Atlanta United before being loaned out again.
