Anthony Pittman professional footballer who plays in the National Football League for the Detroit Lions. He is currently on the active roster of the Lions after being signed to the practice squad.
Pittman’s amateur football career began during his high school days at Birmingham Groves High School. He was on the school’s football team and was named was all league and district during his senior year.
Despite his performances, he received only a couple of offers to play college football. He ultimately decided to pursue his played college football career at Wayne State University.
During his time at Wayne State, Pittman was made team captain for two consecutive seasons and was named and was named an all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference performer for two years.
Pittman was not picked by any team in the 2019 NFL Draft. He later signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent.
