Francis Ngannou, the former UFC champion-turned-heavyweight boxer, received an outpouring of love and support from the sports world after announcing the heartbreaking news of his 15-month-old son’s passing. Anthony Joshua and Conor McGregor were among the many who paid tribute to Ngannou and his family during this difficult time.

McGregor, a father-of-four, expressed his condolences on social media, saying he was “absolutely gutted” to hear the news and sending prayers to Ngannou and his family. Joshua, who also has a young son, shared a message of comfort on Instagram, reminding Ngannou to hold onto the memories he shared with his son.

Even boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, a father of five, reached out to Ngannou, offering prayers and support during this unimaginably difficult time. Ngannou, known for his success in the UFC before transitioning to boxing, faced off against top fighters like Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua before the tragic loss of his son.

The Cameroonian athlete, who typically keeps his personal life private, shared a heartbreaking statement following his son’s passing, expressing the pain and confusion he feels. He described his son Kobe as full of life and joy, now tragically gone too soon.
