Anthony Raymond Bouchard is a Republican politician who has served as a member of the Wyoming Senate from the 6th district since 2017. Bouchard previously ran for the United States House of Representatives in Wyoming in 2022.

Bouchard stated in January 2021 that he will run against incumbent U.S. Representative Liz Cheney in the Republican primary in 2022.
Cheney, who had been a member of Congress since 2017, was chastised by other Republicans, including Bouchard, for voting in favor of impeaching President Trump for his acts leading up to the assault of the US Capitol in 2021.
Cheney, according to Bouchard, is “out of touch,” and Wyoming needs a representative who will “stand up to Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats.”
In March 2021, Bouchard voted in support of a bill backed by Donald Trump Jr. that would have required candidates to receive a majority of votes in primaries to avoid a runoff election; the bill, which would have jeopardized Cheney’s presidency, was defeated.
