Anthony Norman Albanese (born March 2, 1963) is an Australian politician and the country’s current Prime Minister-designate.
Since 2019, he has served as the Australian Labor Party’s (ALP) leader and as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Grayndler.
Albanese served as the second Rudd government’s deputy prime minister in 2013 and as a cabinet minister in the Rudd and Gillard governments from 2007 to 2013.
