On October 16, 1925, Lansbury was born to an upper-middle-class family. Despite the fact that her origin has frequently been given as Poplar, East London, she has dismissed this, expressing that while she had tribal associations with Poplar, she was brought into the world in Official’s Park, Focal London. Her father, British Communist politician Edgar Isaac Lansbury, was born on April 3, 1887, and died on May 28, 1935. He joined the Civil Service at a young age and spent his childhood in Poplar, which is in the East End of London. He left in 1910 to start a business with his brother as a timber merchant.
Three siblings were a blessing for Angela Lansbury. Isolde Denham, Edgar Lansbury, and Bruce Lansbury were among them.
