Andy Goram also won international caps for Scotland as a cricketer and remains the only person to have played a first-class international match at cricket as well as a major international football match for Scotland.

Goram played 43 international appearances for Scotland and was a member of their teams at the 1986 and 1990 World Cups, as well as UEFA Euro 1992 and UEFA Euro 1996.
Goram went on to play for a number of teams after leaving Rangers, including Motherwell and a brief loan spell at Manchester United. Goram also played cricket for Scotland.
He went on to become a goalkeeping coach at a number of Scottish clubs after retiring from playing.
