Kittredge was a student at Spokane, Washington’s Ferris High School. Despite being selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 45th round of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft following his high school graduation, he chose to enroll at the University of Washington. He participated in summer collegiate baseball in 2010 with the Cape Cod Baseball League’s Orleans Firebirds.

Kittredge pitched in eight games in 2020 and had an ERA of 2.25. On August 12, 2020, he had a pitching injury in the UCL against the Boston Red Sox, which ended his season. The day Kittredge was officially released from the 40-man roster on October 30, he decided to pursue free agency. Kittredge re-signed a minor league contract with the Rays on December 8.
