Andrej Kramari, a professional football player for the Croatian national team and Bundesliga club 1899 Hoffenheim, was born on June 19, 1991. He plays as a forward or attacking midfielder.
He holds the record as the top youth goalscorer in the club’s history. In 2013, after a dispute with the Dinamo board of directors, he was transferred to HNK Rijeka.
He was capped 53 times at various youth levels and took part in the 2010 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
Kramarić has capped a total of 53 times for various Croatian youth teams and scored 22 goals in return. He competed for the age groups of under 14, under 16, and under 17. He began competing for the Under-19 team in 2008 and made his debut and first goal at the Under-21 level at the age of 18.
Kramarić made his debut for Croatia on 4 September 2014 in a friendly match against Cyprus. In October 2017, he scored two goals in a crucial 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Ukraine. On 7 July 2018, he was included in Croatia’s final World Cup squad.
In May 2021, his former coach Julian Nagelsmann named him the best player he had ever worked with.
