André Miguel Valente da Silva, a professional football player from Portugal born on November 6, 1995, plays as a striker for both the Portugal national team and Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.
After leaving the Porto academy, he flourished while playing for the reserves until making his first-team debut in 2015. He finally made 58 appearances for the team and contributed 24 goals before joining AC Milan in 2017.
He later played on loan for Eintracht Frankfurt and Sevilla before deciding to join the latter club permanently in 2020. After a season in which he scored 28 goals, a club record, he moved to RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga for a reported €23 million.
Silva has represented Portugal at several young levels and was a part of the Portuguese team that placed second in the 2014 European Under-19 Championship.
