Andre Roberts is a wide receiver and return specialist for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. Prior to being chosen by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft, he played college football at The Citadel. Roberts has previously suited up for the Houston Texans, Detroit Lions, New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons, Houston Redskins, Buffalo Bills, and Los Angeles Chargers.
While a student at Spring Valley, Roberts won a letter in both football and track and field. He helped his team win the state championship in 2003 and finish second as a senior, the year he was selected All-State. In the 100-meter (11.2), 200-meter (21.91), and 400-meter dashes, he achieved personal best times (48.60).

Andre’s parents, Dorothy Roberts and Stephen Roberts, welcomed him into the world on January 9, 1988 in Columbia, South Carolina, in the United States. His parents both had military careers. His mother was a First Sergeant, and his father retired as a Command Sergeant Major.
His parents and he are very close, and they have helped him through every stage of his life. They often visit the grounds to watch his matches and to cheer him up. He is not the only child in the family as he has a brother named Robert.
