The Finance Minister, Honorable Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, has made the greatest suggestion and directed the entire Ashanti Region. Meanwhile, he said President Akufo-Addo has tasked him to make sure and also duly ensure the completion of all the stalled infrastructure projects labeled earlier in the Ashanti Region are tackled and worked on.

In addition, during his exceptional and expected official talk and visit to the aforesaid region, he happened to have met with the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Ashanti Regional Minister.

However, highlighting the Ashanti Region’s significance in Ghana’s economic growth, the Minister strongly, with the greatest concern, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to executing all the noted vital projects in the Ashanti region.

The listed and confirmed projects, however, include the Kumasi International Airport, which is noted as one of the first and foremost targets and projects; the Kejetia Redevelopment Market; and, above all, the other important vital stage is the Mother and Baby Unit at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

The President is adamant about seeing to it that these projects are finished for the benefit of our people, he said in narrating the quotation. “But you are also aware that we have faced some challenges, and as a result, we had to stall for some time.”

Also, “he has also directed that we pay attention to these projects to bring some urgency and speed to bear on these projects so we can get them completed for people to begin to benefit from these projects.” He exclaimed strongly.

Dr. John Kumah, the Deputy Finance Minister, and the Chief Director of the Ministry joined him.
