Famous American Twitch and YouTube star IShowSpeed, legally known as Darren Watkins Jr., has dominated the Nigerian TikTok space after a snippet of his video was used to create a series of behaviours of typical Nigerians.
IShowSpeed, who is famous for his aggressive comedy when going live or playing video games on Twitch and YouTube, is the new favourite in Nigeria.
In the past three or four days, a snippet of his video reacting to a new game has been used to regenerate tons of content about Nigerian parents, young ones and even some celebrities.
In the viral video, IShowSpeed is heard saying: “Skip, skip; but why does this game get f–king good?”
His short video has been used to regenerate content about the delicacies of certain parts of Nigeria, how they acquire pets, how they shop, dial phone numbers and more.
Bizzare fashion choices of some celebrities like Bobrisky, Ayra Starr, Bella Shmurda, James Brown and influencer Tosin were highlighted in the viral video content.
Even Mavins Records’ label star Ayra Starr admitted that the video about him is “Accurate.”
IShowSpeed has an estimated net worth of $10 to 12 million, has 16 million YouTube subscribers and has already clocked billions of video views.
