Best known as Steven Hyde in That ’70s Show, Daniel Masterson has been convicted of 2 counts of rape, The actor is facing 30 years to life in prison. In March 2017, three women filed sexual assault allegations against Masterson, prompting a Los Angeles Police Department investigation. Masterson, through his agent, has denied the allegations.
The actor pleaded not guilty to rape accusations alleged to have occurred between 2001 and 2003. His defense attorney accused the three women of colluding against Masterson, claiming that they were in contact with each other and sued him in arbitration. His defense attorney also stated that one of the Jane Does had obtained money from Masterson in 2004.

Today, His wife Bijou Phillips who is an actor and model, gasped when the verdict was read and wept as he was taken into custody, while a group of family and friends sat stone-faced behind him throughout both trials.
As of now, Masterson’s spokesperson is yet to comment on the verdict, but his attorneys will almost certainly appeal. After a deadlocked jury led to a mistrial in December, prosecutors retried Masterson, saying he forcibly raped three women in his Hollywood Hills home between 2001 and 2003.
