Renowned highlife musician, Barima Sidney, has disclosed that rapper Amerado declined a collaboration request for his new song ‘Bibia B3y3 Fine.’
Speaking on 3FM Drive with Giovani Caleb, Barima Sidney explained that after focusing on solo music for a significant period, he decided to explore collaborations, especially since he has been inactive in the music scene for some time.
After reaching out to Amerado and sending him the instrumental of the song, Barima Sidney was surprised to receive a response from the rapper stating that his management advised against the collaboration for ‘Bibia B3y3 Fine.’
However, Amerado expressed interest in collaborating on a remix of Barima Sidney’s old song ‘Obia ni Obia,’ which the highlife icon gladly accepted.
Despite the setback, Barima Sidney later connected with King Paluta, who promptly recorded his verse for the song just a week after receiving the instrumental.
‘Bibia B3y3 Fine’ was released in May of this year, and Barima Sidney expressed satisfaction with the feedback received so far. The song continues to receive positive reviews from fans and listeners alike.
