Amarachi Ugochukwu, a marketing employee of a bank in Lagos State, took her own life.
According to police sources, Amarachi was found dead inside the staff toilet of the bank in the Ikorodu area of the state on Monday, January 8, 2024.
She reportedly consumed an insecticide to end her life. She bemoaned how difficult her life had been as a result of the nation’s economy in a suicide note that was discovered next to her. The police have begun an investigation into the incident.
She has been whining about how difficult it has been for her to leave, according to regular conversations and gist from her two closest female friends, whose names were kept private.
Nevertheless, she took her own life without warning, leaving a brief note that did not even begin to describe how hot her brain is or how completely broken her mind is.
She finally stated sorry on the note to her lovely mother and the father, additionally stating names such as Nazor, Chuchu, Okwe, and Ifunanya who she could have believed were her families.
She finally asked God to have mercy on her. “Dear Lord, have mercy on me!” she exclaimed.
