Amanda Bynes’ recent episode sparks concern from parents

Amanda Bynes’ recent psychotic episode has sparked concern from her parents, Lynn and Rick, over their daughter’s well-being and health. However, they have no plans to put her into another conservatorship, at least for now. Amanda had been living independently and taking cosmetology classes, seeming to be doing fine until her episode on Sunday.

As TMZ previously reported, Amanda was spotted walking naked near Downtown L.A. and was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold, which typically lasts only 72 hours. The hold may be extended if necessary. Amanda was previously in a conservatorship for almost a decade, starting in 2013, while struggling with her mental health. However, the conservatorship was terminated a year ago.

Despite the episode, Amanda’s parents are taking comfort in the fact that she was self-aware enough to recognize that she was in trouble and called 911 for help. While her parents remain concerned, they are not considering another conservatorship at this time.
