Alontae Devaun Taylor, a cornerback for the National Football League’s New Orleans Saints, was born on December 3, 1998. At Tennessee, he played collegiate football.
Taylor studied at Manchester, Tennessee’s Coffee County Central High School. In his high school career as a quarterback, he amassed 8,225 yards of total offense and 75 touchdowns.

Taylor has 162 tackles, four interceptions, and one score towards the end of his career. In order to be ready for the 2022 NFL Draft, he made the decision to skip the 2021 Music City Bowl.
The New Orleans Saints selected Taylor in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 49th overall. On September 24, 2022, he was put on injured reserve. He became operational on October 20.
