All about Cindy Morgan’s daughter, Chelsea Morgan who is also an actress
Chelsea was born and raised in San Jose, California. Chelsea came out of her shell when she was about 8 years old, thanks to the song “Shy,” which her aunt, a Broadway vet, gave her. Chelsea began dancing when she was just two years old.
Chelsea played competitive soccer until she was eleven years old and loved to sing and dance. When she wasn’t playing soccer, she was in the rehearsal studio.
Chelsea took part in every musical that was presented at her high school, Archbishop Mitty, and the Children’s Musical Theater in San Jose. Chelsea’s priorities have shifted to the neighborhood and the performing arts!
Following her high school graduation, Chelsea attended the Boston Conservatory. During her final year of college, one of her New York-based teachers provided an agent with the names of several of her students while Disney was searching for Ariel for the upcoming Broadway production.
Chelsea was one of those students. As green as she could get, over her winter break, she rode a bus to New York City to try out for The Little Mermaid.
She took a bus back to Boston once she made it to the Ariel casting round. A few days later, she received an invitation to return to New York to read, sing, and dance for the group. Chelsea knew a week or so later that her first job after graduating from college would be on Broadway.
