Alicia Agneson (born February 26, 1996) is a Swedish actress who played Freydis in Vikings Season 5 and Princess Katia in Vikings Season 6.
Agneson grew up in the little village of Eskilstuna, Sweden. As a kid, she began performing, singing, and dancing in modest theatrical shows. She traveled to London when she was fifteen years old to pursue her profession. She has also appeared in the films Little Kingdom, The Courier, and Clark.
Agneson confirmed on Sverigesradio that the strangling sequence in Season 5 Episode 20, Ragnarok, was not a re-enactment. She wanted the scene to look as realistic as possible and was treated on set by a paramedic and co-star Alex Hgh Andersen, despite the crew’s advice to avoid it due to the risks.
