On March 22, 2022, he was sentenced to nine years in a maximum-security prison. This is in addition to a two-and-a-half-year sentence that he’s serving.

His daughter, Daria was born in 2001. She is currently an undergraduate student of Stanford University.

His son, Zakhar, was born in 2009.

Who is Alexei Navalny’s wife?

Alexei Navalny is married to Yulia Navalnaya who is a Russian public figure and economist.

Navalnaya was born to scientist Boris Alexandrovich Abrosimov, however, her parents divorced when she was in the fifth grade.

She is a graduate of the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the Plekhanov Russian Economic Academy. She later went on to complete an internship abroad and then graduate school. She also worked for a while in one of Moscow’s banks.

Yulia met Akexei in the summer of 1998, while on vacation to Turkey. They got married in 2000.
