Alexandra Swe Wagner is an American journalist who was born on November 27, 1977. She is the host of the Netflix reboot of The Mole as well as Alex Wagner Tonight on MSNBC.
Wagner debuted the daily program Now with Alex Wagner on November 14, 2011. (originally at noon ET, but later at 4 PM ET).
According to MSNBC President Phil Griffin, the series was canceled on July 30, 2015, as part of an effort to change the network’s daytime programming to include more breaking news reporting and less political commentary and opinion.
The following day, the program’s final episode aired. Wagner eventually had intentions to host a weekend show on MSNBC, but those plans were later scrapped.
