Actress Alana was born and raised in Saskatchewan but now resides in Toronto, Ontario. Her BFA degree from the University of Saskatchewan was awarded to her with Great Distinction. She spent a brief period studying theater in England before joining an agency and relocating to Toronto.
The Princess and the Bodyguard (2022), To Make Matters Worse (2022), and The Handmaid’s Tale (2022) brought Canadian actress Alana Pancyr to international attention (2018). She started her acting career as a professional in 2013.
Alana recently co-starred as Bella alongside the strong and brilliant Olunike Adeliyi as Angie in the new script “The Atomic Tradition” that was premiered at Unit 102.
She co-starred in the recent short film Pyramid Scream with Katie Uhlmann, which had its world premiere at the Toronto Indie Film Festival and won the director award. Pyramid Scream will soon be shown in London and at the Hamilton Film Festival. She enjoyed participating in this project and enjoys both painting and video gaming.
