The founder and leader of the Movement for Change (M4C), Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, has revealed that the newly formed Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC) will choose a running mate at a later date.
In an interview on Onua FM’s Pae Mu Ka, Kyerematen emphasized that discussions about the Vice Presidential Candidate are not a current priority for the Alliance.
Kyerematen further announced that he has been selected as the leader of the group, positioning him as the presumptive Presidential Candidate for the upcoming December 7 elections. He expressed the Alliance’s singular focus on electoral victory and dismissed distractions surrounding other speculations.
“We have agreed as an Alliance that that is not our main objective,” Kyerematen stated in Twi, emphasizing the Alliance’s commitment to making collective decisions regarding important positions within the group.
The former Ghana ambassador to the United States assured that despite the collaboration within the Alliance, each political party will retain its identity, maintaining their symbols and names. The parties involved in the Alliance include Movement for Change (M4C), National Interest Movement led by Dr Abu Sakara Forster, Union Government headed by Akwasi Addai Odike, and Third Force Movement.
