Ghanaian politician who served as Ghana’s Minister for Trade and Industry from 2017 to 2023 Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen has argued all Christians in the forthcoming December 2024 elections elect a ‘Christlike’ president.
Alan Kyerematen revealed his opinion during Easter celebrations where he called on Christians to exercise their voting rights by choosing a candidate aligned with their religious beliefs.
He emphasized the importance of having a leader who shares the same religious faith as the majority of the population and emphasized the fact that this responsibility is a solemn duty that should not be underestimated or overlooked.
Alan Kyerematen said, “So as a predominately Christian nation and as Christians, it is our responsibility to ensure we elect a Christian leader who is also a Christlike leader.”
Alan Kyerematen is a member of the Council of Governors of the British Executive Service Overseas (BESO) in the UK and also a board member of other organizations in Ghana.
