Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is not nearly as trustworthy as President Akufo-Addo, according to Johnson Asiedu Nketia, National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He declared he would always side with evil [Dr. Bawumia] against bad [Akufo-Addo].
At the University of Professional Studies in Accra, he announced this after the Vice President gave a speech with the theme “Ghana’s Next Chapter: Selfless Leadership and Bold Solutions for the Future.”
As the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Bawumia gave a speech in which he stated his objectives for the nation and urged Ghanaians to support him in the next general elections.
Speaking on Adom FM’s morning program Dwaso Nsem, Mr. Nketia asserted that Dr. Bawumia is unreliable.
In his opinion, Dr. Bawumia is not as good of a choice as President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The issue is Bawumia’s word versus the akufo addo word. “I can tell you with confidence that Akufo-Addo is far more reliable than Bawumia,” General Mosquito declared.
Dr. Bawumia was reprimanded by the NDC Chairman for assigning President Akufo-Addo sole responsibility. According to Mr. Asiedu Nketia, NDC will react suitably and reveal the Vice President in the upcoming days.
“This is just a precursor; we are coming to issue a major response to his statement and expose him properly. Because if you allow falsehood to lead the nation without acting against it, you are equally guilty of what is happening. So, for us, we will keep speaking up and continue to remind him that where were you when we were fighting against E-Levy, Emission Tax, and VAT on Domestic Electricity? Recently, they forced through to approve the budget which we denounced, where were the people in the NPP now supporting Bawumia? Were they not in parliament? What did they do? He cannot come and deceive us at all,” he stated.
