The finals of the 2018 edition of Miss Universe Ghana took place yesterday, Saturday September 15 and Akpene Diata Hoggar was crowned the new queen.
Akpene emerged winner out of nine other contestants, with Tekora Akuetteh coming second place (1st runner up) and Silvia Commodore coming third place (2nd runner up)
The event took place at Labadi Beace Hotel and judges for the night were Yvonne Nelson, Shirley Frimpong-Manso, Emmanuel Kojo Jones-Mensah, SeanGuy and Manuela Osk, and it was hosted by Nathaniel Attoh.
The Miss Universe pageant is founded by former model and philantropist, Menaye Donkor.
