Ghanaian celebrities Lydia Forson and Naa Ashorkor and their team have joined the hundreds of donors to show their support for victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage.
Award-winning Actress touched by what she witnessed at Mepe in the Volta Region by the Akosombo Dam spillage has also presented some relief items amounting to hundreds of cedis.
The items include food, water, clothing, mattresses, toiletries, blankets, baby clothes, and various other necessities to aid the flood victims.
Lydia Forson took to her social media to thank her team for their support towards the presentation in Mepe and also appeal for more donations.
She said, “Thank you @naa_ashorkor_ for remembering how close this region and the people are to my heart, thank you for including me in this and more than anything THANK YOU for reminding me that nothing is ever too small.”

Appearing for more donations she said, “The people of MEPE need you!!” Continuing her statement,
“Donations are also welcome from the public this can be sent through the 3 foundation number 0597433110 or merchant number 120494 with the merchant name 3foundations. All donations should be referenced Akosombo” she said.
