On Friday, March 1, 2024, Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, also known as Ajagurajah, arrived at the Kotoka International Airport to a rousing reception from his supporters. Bishop is the leader of the Ajagurajah Movement.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Ajagurajah can be seen entering the airport’s arrivals hall while sporting his trademark red and black ensemble.

Before long, he was encircled by young men dressed in white and green robes, who bowed and knelt at his feet. They honored him as their spiritual father and sang his name.

Known for his outlandish teachings and methods, Ajagurajah was spotted caressing the heads of his devotees and bestowing blessings upon them.

Then more of his devotees surrounded him like a human shield and escorted him away.

A religious movement known as the Ajagurajah Movement asserts that it adheres to the teachings of the Old Testament and the angel Ajagurajah, who is described as God’s warrior.

The group’s rituals and beliefs, which include using animal blood for cleaning and offering fufu and omotuo as communion, have garnered significant attention and controversy.
