Popular Ghanaian broadcaster and cultural enthusiast, Kwasi Kyei Darkwah, has dismissed claims that the ‘Agyapadie’ document is a mere work of fiction. He firmly believes that the content of the document is a strategic plan for the looting of Ghana.
During an appearance on the JoyNews’ AM Show, KKD, as he is commonly known, emphasized that the current Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government is actively involved in the plunder of the state. He described the actions under this government as acts of sabotage that cannot be overlooked.
“We have all the necessary systems in place, such as prosecutors, magistrates, judges, and the police force, yet we witness the content of this document unfolding before our eyes. It is imperative that we address this issue rather than turn a blind eye to it,” KKD expressed passionately.
His comments follow the statements made by Okyenhene Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin, who labeled the document, which features his image, as a complete fabrication aimed at inciting hatred towards the Akyem people and Okyeman.
The ‘Agyapadie’ document, which allegedly outlines a detailed strategy to elevate and maintain the Akyem people in influential positions across various sectors of the Ghanaian economy, resurfaced recently, gaining significant attention in both traditional and social media.
At a recent meeting of the Akyem Abuakwa State Council, Okyenhene urged his fellow kinsmen and all Ghanaians to treat the document with disdain.
However, KKD maintains that the document should not be disregarded and demands that it be taken seriously. He stated, “After observing for over three and a half years, I can attest to the fact that everything outlined in that document is unfolding before our eyes. Initially, I dismissed it as nonsense, but now I see it as a calculated plan by those seeking to plunder the state.”
