On Saturday, there were tears as the remains of Lady Caroline Aguiyi-Ironsi, who was the daughter of General Thomas Umunnankwe Aguiyi-Ironsi, the former Head of State of Nigeria, were buried in Umuana village, Ndume Ibeku, in the Umuahia North local government area of Abia State.

Lady Caroline, who passed away at the age of 68, was well-liked in the neighborhood for her generosity and support of regular people.

Precisely in his address and the little advice given at the event, Abia State Governor Alex Otti described the late Lady Caroline Aguiyi-Ironsi as a woman of substance with a heart of gold, pure and natural.

Ikechuckwu Emetu, Otti’s deputy, made the argument that Caroline was a genuinely compassionate person who made a significant impact on a great number of people’s lives through her warmth, kindness, and compassion.

Meanwhile, it was noted that he called on the family to remain strong and look forward to the positive side of life in recognition of the legacy of love and generosity exemplified by the deceased.

The son of the late General Aguiyi-Ironsi, Thomas Aguiyi Ironsi, was speaking on behalf of the family and thanked Governor Otti for reaching out to them during this trying time. He prayed for God’s wisdom and health so that he could continue carrying out his ongoing programs in the state.
