Afua Asantewaa O Aduonum, known for her Guinness World Record (GWR) achievements, has been enstooled as the Nkosuohemaa (Queen Mother of development) of Breman Essiam in the Central Region. The title, Nana Afua Asantewaa Anomatsewa I (Eloquent bird), was conferred upon her by the paramount queen mother of Breman Essiam, Nana Afua Asiwa II, during the Donkese ceremony on Saturday.
In her new role, Afua Asantewaa O Aduonum will be tasked with implementing programs aimed at driving development in the area. The paramount queen mother expressed pride in Afua Asantewaa O Aduonum’s achievements, stating, “you have really made us all proud, we the people of Essiam and Ghana are proud of you. You are the first to be conferred with this title. We know what you are capable of doing, hence this recognition.”
Responding to the honor, Nana Asantewaa Anomatsewa I expressed gratitude and promised to work diligently to elevate the development of the area. She stated, “I am indeed honoured and grateful for this honor, I will do everything possible to ensure that we take the development of this area a notch higher.”
