After British withdrawal from the European Union (Brexit), a leading member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), lawyer Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, has launched what he calls “Maxit”.

According to Gabby, Maxit “is a referendum on 8yrs of NDC and the leadership of John Mahama”.

It’s an attempt to boot out President Mahama after 8 years of NDC’s reign in Ghana.

He took to Twitter today, July 13 saying “First & foremost, 2016 is about Maxit. It is a referendum on 8yrs of NDC & the leadership of John Mahama. If you are happy with it, keep him.”

Do you think the National Democratic Congress has had enough power to prove to Ghanaians that they can transform Ghana?
