Sports Minister and Ghanaian politician Mustapha Ussif in a press conference revealed that the athletes are very excited about the facilities they put in place for them.
In Mustapha Ussif’s statement, he said, “So far I have visited the wait lifting this afternoon, I have been to the aquatic center, wrestling I have been there, the various competitions and all the centers where the competition is currently ongoing and the athletes are excited, they are very very excited about the facilities that we have put in place, the equipment, the huge investment they have done.
As far as procuring equipment is concerned for all the federations, their federations heads are here and they can attest to the equipment that we procure from Tashin, one of the leading sports companies in the world. So we are here just to engage you, and we have also directed the local organizing committee to ensure that we have daily updates or daily engagement with the media.”
