The Black Stars of Ghana are already in Côte d’Ivoire for the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The 27-man squad showed up in the West African country on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, looking stylishly elegant and majestic in kente clothes.

For the appearance, they opted for white shirts, kente clothes and sandals. The suad have been praised on social media for choosing what represents their roots.

“CAF should give us our first trophy (Fashion Cup) before the main tournament starts,” X (formerly Twitter) user @deejjerry said.

Another user @_owurakuampofo wrote: “That’s my country. We always win the fashion cup, you can check the 2022 World Cup too!”

YouTube user @user-wo7dz1du8e said: “Dede is right in the sense that UNITY is what we need now as Ghanaians to support our team no matter what. Division and blame will not win us the tournament. To all Ghanaians, this game will be tough to win, but resilience, determination and the will to fight for our nation will win this tournament. God bless Ghana.”
