Adrian Gerald Amos Jr., an American football strong safety for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League, was born on April 29, 1993. He attended Penn State during his collegiate football career before being taken by the Chicago Bears in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
In Towson, Maryland, Amos attended Calvert Hall College High School. Rivals.com gave him a three-star rating as a prospect. When he first made his commitment, he chose to play college football for the University of Connecticut.
On November 10, 2014, Amos decided to accept the Senior Bowl’s invitation to participate in the 2015 game, according to the organization. Prior to the Senior Bowl and combine, NFLDraftScout.com ranked Amos as the sixth-best free safety prospect, and he was projected to go in the fourth or fifth round of the draft. On January 24, 2015, Amos took part in the Senior Bowl, and his two lone tackles helped the North defeat the South 34-13.
